Current save file format number is 7. Please consider support the newest save format.

Same, I'd love to be able to use this! My c++ skills are insufficient to fix the issues here.

I have no plans to maintain support for this capability. You're free to clone the repo and update it for yourself, or use it as a reference for writing your own implementation.
