Cloud debug is deprecated, application starts with an error but does not seem to affect the lab

In my case this issue made Cloud Trace not working for /client requests.

I managed to fix it this way:

  1. Go to shell where npm start is running, stop it by pressing Ctrl+C
  2. Open package.json and change "@google-cloud/debug-agent" version to 8.0.0
    (or maybe higher - at this point in time 8.0.0 is the latest one I see on versions).
  3. Save file.
  4. Execute npm install and then npm start again in the shell.

Now Cloud Trace should work fine 😊

Note that you can encounter error like:
[2023-11-13T09:48:27.781Z] @firebase/database: FIREBASE WARNING: Firebase error. Please ensure that you have the URL of your Firebase Realtime Database instance configured correctly. (https://qwiklabs-gcp-01-6cafd0c7cfa0-cdbg.firebaseio.com/)
However, it shouldn't affect this lab, as this database seems not to be used here.
