Having a button in the settings that will automatically set the DS to open Elastic will make it much easier for people to use Elastic.

From the WPILib docs, and this CD post:

  1. Open up the file C:\Users\Public\Documents\FRC\FRC DS Data Storage.ini in Notepad.

  2. Edit the line DashboardCmdLine to DashboardCmdLine = ""C:\\Users\\Public\\wpilib\\2025\\elastic\\elastic_dashboard.exe"" (Note, this is the default WpiLib version, change if installed in a different path)

  3. Save the file, and restart the Driver Station.

  4. Set the dashboard type to Default in the Driver Station.
