Expected Behavior

Remote service should show all the layers that are woking in geoserver

Actual Behavior

Remote service not able to fetch all the published layers.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. Mount NAS drive (containing shp files) into ubuntu.
  2. Publish layers from that mount folder. Preview layer will work fine in geoserver.
  3. Now Add Resource-> Remote service -> add geoserver url into geonode.
  4. Try to scan layers. Layers published from NAS mounted drive will not be visible in the Remote service.

Specifications

Is your layer published as WMS so that geonode can read it from GetCapabilities? By the way you could also use updatelayers management command to publish your layer frrom geoserver to geonode
