Talked to internal contact about implementation. We will invoke the .exe as a child process of client on demand when the feature is activated, configured via command line. Keep in mind potential issues with parent process privilege elevation.

Roll up the internal app codebase as a project in the PM solution, installer ships together with client exe.

App uses different build system with custom scripting, will need to do a little work to get it working nicely in our msbuild solution.
