GPX files created by OSMAnd+ contain <type> tags, which are used to categorise bookmarks and set colours, etc. When translating such a GPX file to KML, this information seems to be lost.
I would suggest to translate each GPX <type> to a different KML <Document> (or <Style>, if that is not possible).
My goal is to have the categories, that were shown in OSMAnd+, show up in MAPS.ME in a similar way. I am using these categories to sort my bookmarks by world-region. MAPS.ME shows different <Document>s as different folders, which resembles exactly the OSMAnd+ behaviour with <type>s.

Hi, and welcome. I don't think color is a tag specified by GPX.
http://www.topografix.com/gpx/1/1/ and we tend to not support vendor
extensions except when there's very high demand. Please provide a sample
file to continue the discussion.
