Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Gitter seems to have lost a lot of its functionality and ease of use with the authentication changes. Maybe this works for some but it has been very hard to use and keep enabled as of late. Might be time to consider creating a discord server instead.

Other options could also be considered.
