hi,

we rely on https://met.refeds.org/met/entity/https%3A//idp.wmin.ac.uk/entity/?viewxml=true&federation=edugain to draw metadata for Shibboleth authentication to EZproxy.

this seems to be missing and as a result this service no longer works.

could this be looked at please?

Hi Mark

MET is purely a display only tool to allow people to get a sense of what services are available in federations. It should under no circumstances be used as a metadata feed and should definitely not be used as part of a live service. Please contact the UK federation to better understand where and how you should be using published metadata.

thank you for this comment. We are working towards rectifying this issue. Is there a way however to update this so that the xml metadata is there? it currently appears to be missing.
