If MET could enable custom branding at different endpoints or, better yet, vhosts, it could use this as a funding stream. Subscribers could pay extra to brand and have MET default to things like searching their federation's metadata. Using vhosts for this would enable DNS that looks like MET is hosted by them. I could see InCommon replacing its own search tools with this if it were available, especially if it could run in an iframe.
