Connecting to a BBS

For this test, you will need

• Atari Computer
• FujiNet
• Working WiFi Connection
• A host slot set to atari-apps.irata.online

Steps

1. Power on #FujiNet
2. Power on Atari
3. Wait for CONFIG to boot.
4. Select atari-apps.irata.online
5. Select Comms folder.
6. Select modem-programs.atr
7. Ensure that modem-programs.atr is mounted as R on D1:
8. Press OPTION to boot.
9. Wait for menu.
10. Select BTERM.COM from the menu. Wait for BOBTerm to load.
11. Once BOBTerm is loaded, press RETURN to enter Terminal Mode.
12. Type AT RETURN (keypresses should echo)
13. #FujiNet should respond OK
14. Type ATDTBBS.FOZZTEXX.NET RETURN
15. Modem should respond with CONNECT 2400, followed by BBS login.
16. Log into BBS as Visitor.
17. Once logged in, log out.
18. Once logged out, #FujiNet should respond with NO CARRIER.
19. Test done. Power down Atari.

Expected Result

• WiFi Modem should be able to properly respond and connect/interact to BBS.FOZZTEXX.NET.
