Dear developer

This is my very first time writing on GitHub, so forgive me for any missteps in formatting and wording.
Wanted to share with you the following observation.
In the file manager, the very first time I was able to select the folder "/emulated/0/Android/data/org.telegram.messenger" and the download button turned green, and the download started after I clicked on it.
After closing the app Scrcpy+ and starting it again, I could select what I wanted, the download button did not turn green again.
Know the file manager is still in beta and I don't expect stable functionality and maybe you already know the behavior.

Thank you for your attention and thank you for your work. Good luck for the future!

i'm not aware of this issue. Are you able to send me a screen recording of how to replicate this issue?

Hello again

I have recorded the process once.

  • 00:00 - First run that worked - downloading the folder to the desktop.
  • 01:11 - Second run
  • 01:31 - Download button no longer turns green, but I can navigate further into the folder structure
  • 01:55 - I have deleted the previously downloaded data from the desktop and navigate to the org.telegram.messenger folder again

Rest of video no longer shows this effect. I kept the downloaded data on the desktop and it worked and I likewise deleted the data and it worked again.
I closed Scrcpy+ and reconnected the phone and I could not reproduce it again.

In the end, I was able to toggle the download button status by "selecting" the folder.

I hope it helps anyway.

Thank you and best regards

so it appears as though the first time, SCRCPY+ sees the folder as a file. I'll look into that.
