[Feature Request]: Users should be able to watch videos that are longer than 6 hours #4160
Comments
For those waiting on this I've founded a small workaround to mitigate the consequences of this issue: you can Ctrl+R when the video freezes and it will reload at the same spot so You don't have to go back and restart the entire video. You only need to go back to fullscreen after that because Ctrl+R breaks fullscreen mode. |
CRTL+R reloads the entire window, so includes clearing caches, having to load settings, playlists, watch history and subscriptions from the filesystem again etc etc. It's much better to just click the backwards and forwards buttons in the navigation bar, instead of reloading the whole app. |
I don't understand what you mean by backwards and forwards buttons. edit: So I found out what those buttons are but those don't work for me. The reason is that I always open a video in a new channel because if I don't and go back then the channel view will have changed. It will have regressed back to 'sorted by most relevant' (whatever that means) instead of what I want it actually sorted by and when I am x pages deep into the channel it will go back page 1 making me load more pages everytime. CTRL+R is far better. |
