Currently, we use specific GitHub issue templates for feature requests, bugs, or questions. Nevertheless, some issues are just tasks that aren't real bugs or new features for the product. This often relates to issues with pipelines, project management, documentation changes, or chores. In such cases, none of the currently available issue templates fits.
Proposed Solution
Create a new GitHub issue template for "tasks."
Additional Context
This fits perfectly with the new 3 GitHub issue types: Feature, Bug, and Task. It might also make sense to check whether those types can automatically be assigned during issue creation.
