Feature request: different action for validation and validation with modifier

As of today, it is possible to chose between whether to paste on select or not.
Personally, I have deactivated this option, but sometimes I would like to do so.

Would it be possible to have some paste on select only when select is done with a modifier like ctrl ?

• default behavior is the one from the setting, in my case, I just pick one in the clipboard
• alternate behavior is trigger by validation with modifier (ctrl, alt... maybe a setting), so in my case, ctrl+clic (or ctrl+enter) would paste.

Coupled to #64 that would be very practical when you are in a keyboard only workflow
