Hi @aleclarson, thanks for raising this!

This project is not a derivative work of the Poppler libraries. It simply invokes the CLI utils, which does not impose GPL requirements on the calling code.

However, the inclusion of the Windows CLI utils in this repo muddies the licensing a bit. It may be best if I move those to a separate optional dependency.
