WiFi QR Code Generator

This project is a simple web-based application that generates a QR code for connecting to a specified WiFi network. When scanned, the QR code automatically connects the user's device to the WiFi network using the embedded network credentials.

Getting Started

Follow these instructions to set up the project locally on your machine.

Installation

  1. Clone the Repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/wifi-qr-code-generator.git
    cd wifi-qr-code-generator
    
  2. Set Up Project Structure: Ensure that you have these files in your project directory: index.html style.css script.js

Usage

Open index.html in a Web Browser: Launch the index.html file in a web browser. This will generate a QR code based on the WiFi network information provided in the script.js file.

Scan the QR Code: Use a QR code scanner app on your smartphone or a similar device to scan the code. The device should automatically connect to the specified WiFi network.

Customization

WiFi Credentials: Edit script.js and replace the placeholders with your network details:

var ssid = "YourNetworkName";           // Replace with your WiFi SSID
var password = "YourNetworkPassword";   // Replace with your WiFi Password
var encryption = "WPA";                 // Set to "WPA", "WEP", or "none"

Styling: Modify style.css to change the appearance of the web page according to your preferences.
