add Avro provider

since Jackson supports Avro, why not providing it for jaxrs ?

That is a possibility. The main question is what kind of configuration needs to be added to handle mandatory schema; this is similar to adding CSV provider. Also, another question is whether framing should be needed; I am not 100% sure how web services include Avro (if they do).

But in general, yes, it would definitely make sense to add Avro provider as well.
