Github Discussion consideration for Google Group

GEDCOM Google Group Participants,

GitHub has finalized it's Discussion Module. The GEDCOM Steering Committee was reviewing this feature when it was in Beta. We would like to have all discussions about FamilySearch GEDCOM in the same website that we have been handling issues and pull-request about the specification. Now that's its final we recommend moving our GEDCOM conversation to GitHub but want you feedback before we set a date for the change. When we move, everyone will be notified and all open conversations in Google Groups will be re-opened in GitHub Discussions. Below is a comparison of the two services.
