Do you already have an issue opened with F5 support?
No, we've just been talking with our Solutions Engineer
Description
We'd like the ability to failover routes in our AWS environment that use a prefix list (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vpc/latest/userguide/managed-prefix-lists.html) of IPs as their destination. Currently, when attempting to provide such for scopingAddressRanges, we get an error, and I can see in the schema that it specifically expects a CIDR format anyway.
Allowing the use of prefix lists would enable customers to simplify their cloud routing by grouping commonly-used CIDR blocks together, while still making use of this extension; currently we're unable to use it to fail over these routes.
Environment information
Cloud Failover Extension Version: 2.0.2
BIG-IP version: 16.1.4.2
Cloud provider: AWS
Severity Level
N/A, is an enhancement request
