Do you already have an issue opened with F5 support?

Yes

Description

Does CFE support Route Domains? My testing suggests No but I cannot find documentation to support this. I have a customer experiencing CFE failures and they are using Route Domains also.

Please note, my testing does not use multiple Traffic Groups, only multiple Route Domains.

I can share emails with my test results, but so far I can see that IP addresses associated with VIPs in RD 0 are successfully moved between interfaces in Azure, but IP addresses associated with VIPs in RD1 are not moved. They appear to not be discovered by CFE and are not seen in CFE logs.

Environment information

For bugs, enter the following information:

  • Cloud Failover Extension Version: 1.15
  • BIG-IP version: 17.1.1
  • Cloud provider: Azure

PM team, FYI, I have tested multiple times and Route Domains do not work with CFE. At the very least, can we get this updated in documentation?
