The screws needed to assemble the case are currently unknown, this should be determined and documented.

Hi!
I contacted the original poster of this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/27xmxy/my_second_ergodox_not_massdrop_3d_printed_case/
He said he used standard M3 screws. Basically the top half of the case has smaller sized holes so that the screw can grip the plastic and close the case. I hope this helps!
Probably I'll build the case myself in the near future, if I discover something else I'll report it here.

M3? But the M3 screw I bought is a bit thick. What did you put it together?

I've checked dimensions in STEP files:

  • 0.25in (6.35mm) screw head hole diameter in the bottom part
  • 0.134in (3.40mm) screw shank hole diameter in the bottom part
  • 0.089in (2.26mm) screw shank hole diameter in the top part
  • 0.2in (5.08mm) external screw mounting column diamater in the top part

So, the bottom part seems to be designed for M3 bolts, however the M3 bolt has the internal shank diameter of 2.39mm, so it won't fit the top part on a perfectly calibrated print unless you make the hole wider by drilling it with the 2.5mm drill bit for making a thread with a tap or the 2.7mm drill bit if you force the M3 bolt directly.
