Compatibility to other NGSI-LD CBs?

Will this connector work with other NGSI-LD-conform CB implementations, or does it only support Orion-LD?

Thanks for your question.
Currently this connector is meant for connecting FIWARE Orion Context Broker with Pyspark and it is part of the FIWARE environment, so we are not sure about possible extensions with other NGSI-LD Conform CBs.
However, we would like to highlight two things:

• Orion CB is also based on the ETSI NGSI-LD Standard, meaning that most things should be in common
• The connector has an internal parsing tool for requests, meaning that it receives requests in JSON format and then it creates classes based on the NGSI standard.

We can suggest to try this connector with your desired NGSI-LD CB and, since it is open source, feel free to modify it according to your needs. We would also like to know your kind feedback.

One additional question: Are there any plans on the roadmap for providing a batch processing interface to a NGSI-LD CB (e.g. via NGSI-LD temporal API)?

Currently there isn't any plan for processing temporal data :)
However, we will discuss internally if provide some interface for temporal data, stay in touch
