always keep the name of the 'show past events' toggle the same #926

Describe the bug

if you select the 'show past events' toggle, the name changes to 'hide past events', but the 'toggling' state is shown next to it which makes it a kind of double negative.

Expected behavior
keep the label 'show past events'
