Test manual editing of the polygons that are created after using the "Create Polygon" tool. Need to check that after a user manually edits/moves these polygon vertices that the create bathy file tool still works properly. This may not be a simple task since it would involve adjusting the created "Centerline" layer to match the same spatial extent of the modified polygons since the "Centerline" layer is an input to the create bathy file tool. A button may need to be added to the "Create Polygon" tool GUI that allows the user to refresh/update the "Centerline" layer after any manual edits--just an idea further thought may be needed. Also, a QGIS feature should be identified and documented in our wiki (if one exists) that allows the user to edit/move common vertices among adjacent polygons at the same time. We know that such features/tool exist in the ESRI ArcGIS framework.
