Firefox 109 followed Chromium 87 in adding an unsightly extensions button to the toolbar to manage MV3 extensions. For a while, the solution to hiding it was
about:config
>>extensions.unifiedExtensions.enabled
>>false
, then the solution wasuserChrome.css
>>#unified-extensions-button {display:none!important;}
. This is a workaround, though the pre-Firefox 109 extension management was vastly superior. Please can this be added back to r3dfox?There are some upcoming improvements to Firefox that make the extensions button hideable again.
