Issues listed here https://github.com/SciTools/iris/labels/Feature%3A%20ESMValTool and that we should discuss at the joint iris-ESMValTool meeting on October 17, ordered by the number of thumbs-up/rockets/hearts etc by the ESMValTool developers only

I've created a GH Project for the forthcoming 🌍 ESMValTool Workshop.

I've used this ticket (#1738) to seed the GH Project with the issues that we all may want to talk about or perhaps work on / move forward over the week.

I've also categorised these issues into their associated priorities, which is easy to see via the By Priority view of the GH Project.

Not quite sure how this will work for people participating remotely, but at least they can see topics up for discussion at the surgery, and how things are progressing.

I thought we could use the 📞 Remote Hangout kanban board column to add cards for any remote participants who want to book a specific time to speak to those attending about a specific subject. What do you think? Will that work?

Also I've added existing 🚀 In Progress PRs, and potential 🆕 New topics for discussion.

We can simply add content as it arises 👍

looking good @bjlittle cheers muchly! - not sure what a kanban is (sounds like a type of Japanese fighter plane from WW2) but I'll go with it 😁

@bjlittle One issue which I'm missung on the board is SciTools/iris-esmf-regrid#192. Would it be also possible to add this (with a rather high priority😄)?

I'm not fully sure if this is somehow incorporated in SciTools/iris#4754 (which is already on the board), so please ignore this comment if it is. In this case it would be great if you could also assign a rather high priority to this.

Thanks!! 👍
