As a web-app, I think we should have links to other parts of our project, most specifically:

  1. The ELVIS-database
  2. Our documentation (essentially the github VIS page)
  3. If there is a forum, add that here as well.

Appearance:

  1. Let's add a logo on the top, and a static background image.

I can't really think of a background that wouldn't look bad. I'm rather fond of the minimalistic look, but I'm open to suggestions.

Let's do that nifty ELVIS music staff background. Wouldn't that just be
the cat's pajamas?

No, the five-lines logo as a background image would not be attractive.

For that matter, the "v" image currently serving as the VIS logo isn't very good, and the navbar is virtually useless (though it looks good).

It'd be nice to have an image that could replace the "v" and also be a favicon. As for the navbar, I'll think about what to do with that when I think about what to do with the elvisproject.ca website. Suggestions for either?

I've branched the elvisproject.ca website and have been doing a little
re-organization. FYI: Julie wants me to make a sonification page and also
move my code examples of using the API to the website. I'm gonna do it on
Monday.

For the menu, we should use the "menu.inc" file in the ELVIS-Project/elvisproject@067c46f commit.

It'll be updated and revised and so on, but now, at least, it's there.
