We are looking at building vAirify in an iterative manner, adding a small bit at a time so that we can get feedback and quickly incorporate that feedback.
The following is a suggestion for how the product is built up, with the higher priority features being added first.
Iteration | Label | Description | Status |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Backend | Forecast and in-situ data loaded into a database | Done |
2 | First AQI graphs | Summary page and city view (graphs of AQI figures only, for the last 5 days) | In Progress |
3 | Target hardware | vAirify running on the target hardware for real usage | In Progress |
4 | Pollutants | Addition of graphs for individual pollutants | |
5 | Stations | Addition of graphs for individual monitoring stations | |
6 | Deselection | Ability to deselect monitoring stations | |
7 | Map view | Incorporation of a map view | |
--- | --- | Bonus features | --- |
8 | Public use | Something that is available to the general public | |
9 | Forecast length | Ability to choose forecast length | |
10 | Historical data | Ability to see a month of historical data |
