Can't delete a directory in private FTP folder

Hi,
if I have a private FTP folder for data upload for a study, I can upload
a directory full of files, using e.g. aspera. But I can't delete that again from the web interface:

There was an unexpected error.
Required List parameter 'ftpFile' is not present

Addendum: I can not delete it, if the folder is the ONLY thing in the private ftp.
If I have a number of files and the folder, I can select all and delete everything.
