To get more online engagement, we should break down the long-form content into smaller tweetable bits that link back to the long-form content. To do that:
Create at least 5+ snippets from each article/blog post that can be posted as a Tweet on the account.
Add a link to the respective article, and if the snippet speaks to a concept, have an image or short clip that demonstrates it if possible.
Where applicable, put code in the image alt text. There are better ways to share code, but having it there piques interest, hence engagement
Other snippets can be taken from the presentations done at meetups. For instance, a couple of Tweets can be made from the philosophy behind Monarch, which is important information to users that don't have a background with Storybook or similar products.
The concept that sample projects demonstrate can be broken done into smaller bits from which short clips can be made to make more content.
Post Frequency
Roll out an article/blog post once every 2 or 3 weeks.
Tweet snippets from the current article until the next one.
At a minimum, make a tweet once every second day.
