Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Adding new filaments is a bit tedious. Often times you need to create a manufacturer, filament, and then a spool as 3 separate steps. Creating new permutations of existing filaments (colors) can also be tedious, as you must make the filament first, and create the spool as 2 separate steps.

Describe the solution you'd like
Being able to create a new spool and filament, or spool, filament, and manufacturer, in one step. This could be implemented with a text box for manufacturer/filament, instead of a locked drop down. The user would start entering the manufacturer and filament, If the combination already exists, then it would auto fill the existing parameters. If the combination (either filament or both) does not exist, then they will be created at the same time as the spool using the given information.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Just doing it the way its implemented now.
Bulk filament creation, being able to add multiple filament options from the same manufacturer quickly, with little parameter variance (name and color).
Being able to make a spool when a new filament is made.

I support this, it would streamline the entering process.

I think it would already help if you need to do only 2 steps: like manufacturer (if not in yet) and then a spool option to the filament, just to add 0, 1, 2, ... spools. As in many cases you add a new filament, when you also add a spool.

what would be nice if the info from the manufacturer would feed into the filament and then both feed into the spool.
