I have been using Spoolman for several months now. Using mostly for logging what's on-hand for design work, gives me a pallet of color and material choices at-a-glance.
Some iIdeas I have ...
1-(un)group spools for a project. I would like to group spools I intend to use for a project for easy access (I have 157 spools in my spool man database making it cumbersome to find what I need quickly). Then when I'm done with that project I want to remove that group. I'm thinking these groups are only a way to view spools so they do not need to remove the spools from the overall spool list only group ones I want to see on a per project basis then remove the group when done.
2-update 'used' from Gcode import. It would be nice to be able to import a Gcode files only to read how much filament is estimated to be used and then be able to tell Spoolman what filament(s) are to be consumed. I ask this as a way to handle using my Bambu Lab X1C. My 2 Prusa printers are using Octoprint with the Spoolman plugin so no issues here on tracking usage. But the idea to read the Gcode file, or at least a better GUI to manually enter filament used would be overall nice for anyone that has a 3D printer to use this software...at least how I am (design color/material choices on-hand and Bambu Lab tracking).
3-adjustable column widths. I would like to be able to make the columns wider, especially the comments column.
4-link and unlink attributes between Spoolman pages/categories. I would like to be able to show an attribute on the Spools page that is actually from the Filaments page. In this example I want to hex color code but being able to chose any would be perfect. And of coarse be able to unlink them.
Thank for this great work. I hope you consider my ideas seriously as I think some of them others would like too.

I would love to simply add attributes from a filament to the Spools view. For example: I created a custom boolean column to track that I've calibrated a given filament for my printer. I would love to see which of my spools have been calibrated based on the filament attribute, as I have multiple spools of a given filament.
