Discovered on Friday 21/4/17 that Gerald's bed is not level to an extreme degree: the bed was stuck at a level unsuitable for 3mm cutting. @DefProc and I had an initial look and added some lubrication but will need a more in depth diagnosis this week seems the belts tension and possibly other issues mean the 2 screws on the right of the bed as you face it are way lower than they should be. We managed to get the left of the bed to a good cutting height but this means there is only a 30-50cm column good for cutting on the left at present. May have to consider marking him broken in calendars

Ive emailed mark anderton just now who is booked on this morning to warn him about issue. I'd advise not trying to lower the bed now if anyone wants to cut in the column on the left we've managed to establish: it may mean the bed won't come back up until we do a full diagnosis and fix
Looks like someone has resolved Gerald! Me and my late reporting! It's a tiny we bit lower on the right but not on a way that would hinder usage :) will update mark anderton
