HOW TO RUN TOMCAT AS A CONTAINER USING DOCKER AND DEPLOY SAMPLE WAR PACKAGE

Step 1 : Install docker

Step 2 : Start the docker service

Step 3 : Write the dockerfile

Step 4 : Build the image using the dockerfile you have created.
	"docker build -t tomcat-image ."

Step 5 : Run the container using the image you have created.
	"docker run -p 8080:8080 --name tomcat-container tomcat-image &"

Step 6 : Access the application over the browser.
	"your-ip-address:8080" ---- This should show the tomcat server
	"your-ip-address:8080/sample" ---- This should show the sample war package running on tomcat.
