How does the impacts of direct air capture evolves with changes in efficiency and the energy systems

Long Description

According to the IPCC, direct air capture is a key component for decarbonizing the energy systems in the future.
However, these systems use electricity to operate.
Since the electricity systems will evolve with time as well as efficiencies of the systems it is important to understand to understand how impacts of DAC will reduce in the future.
Keeping this in mind, in this project we plan to use bw premise to project electricity mixes and PV systems efficiency to estimate the impacts up to 2050.
Specifically, our goals are :

1. To estimate the spatial variation in GHG of DAC systems using different country electricity mixes
2. To develop lifecycle inventories of electricity produced from PV with increase in efficiency and subsequent impacts of DAC.
