This will apply both to the Pocket and Analog watches.
Introduce a mechanic that requires the player to wind-up both watches in order to keep it working. Both of these watches will automatically be winded up if the player is either wearing it or it’s in there inventory.
If not, and the watch is on the floor or in a container - then just decrease the value until it runs out. From there the user will have to put it in there inventory for it to work again.
Thinking about this, it seems kinda pointless - you won’t need it to work if you don’t have it in your inventory anyway.
