Hi David, I'm also working on a backtesting engine based on Michael Moore's Successful Algorithmic Trading book. As you noted, the code does not work as is, it needs to be updated with the latest python programming conventions. I would love to collaborate with you, as you're the only one I see publically working on this. I would share what I worked on with you.
