Dog Not Teleport Unload Chunk Waystone

Is there a way to get your dog to teleport to you or a chance where you can press the dog's bed to teleport it back to its bed? I am having an issue where when teleporting using the Waystone Mod or on a ship mod they will not teleport with you and get lost in the unload chunk; therefore, will become lost and not teleport to you. Is there a storage-like system to store the dog and unsummon it?

Btw I am using the latest fabric version of the mod. MC 1.20.1
