Start playback at highest quality

I'm sure there must be a better way than this?

    player.setQualityFor('video', highest.qualityIndex);

  player.initialize(videoEl, url, true);

If I leave it to default, it plays at low quality and never adapts to the highest resolution.

Is there a setting I can use to try and play highest first?
