Incorrect CPU Die temp readings on iMac

I have two Macs running the same version of the Fanny. MacBook one works perfectly and matches whatever I see when I run sudo powermetrics --samplers smc |grep -i "CPU die temperature"
iMac shows different (and crazy high) reading.

It was there on both Catalina and Big Sur though, so feels like the MacOS update is not the issue.

I even reinstalled MacOS because I thought there is something wrong with the hardware. Fortunately it's only readings.
