Material Me! Sample App - Extension (Solution Code)

The Material Me! application is a mock Sports information app intended to teach principles of Material Design. This version the app includes alternate layouts for landscape orientation viewing, tablets and international locales. It teaches the basics of using resource qualifiers.

Pre-requisites

For this app you should be familiar with:

  • Creating and running apps in Android Studio.
  • Locating and editing resource files.
  • Extracting resources.
  • Instantiating a virtual phone or tablet using the emulator.
  • Providing alternate resources for landscape mode.
  • Providing alternate resources for tablets.
  • Providing alternate resources for different locales.

Getting Started

  1. Download and open the app in Android Studio.
