Was able to get Slack welcome bot working in a provisioned Slack sandbox workspace, but lacking permissions to run the Slack app in the cms Slack (says it requires admin permissions) |

@decause-gov @IsaacMilarky @natalialuzuriaga I wrote a long and short version of a welcome message for the Slack welcome bot in a Slack canvas that I shared in Slack. Let me know if you have any thoughts (e.g. whether I should go with the long version or short version)! Thanks! |

This ticket will probably extend past my fellowship, but I saw Walta left a comment on the JIRA ticket (https://jira.cms.gov/browse/TOOLS-7258) about the possibility of not needing a new Slack app installed, otherwise the name of the person I've been trying to DM in Slack is Srinivas Kanagala |
