Hi, I think, I can define a mikeio dataarray holding a 2D wave spectrum. Does that look OK? I am wondering about the double up of "frequency" and "direction" in dimensions and geometry...

Hey @Hendrik1987, We still miss the basic writing functionality of spectral dfsu files in MIKE Core. That is the main stopping block. I did a project with a client a year ago where we needed the same for an operational system. In that case, we made a template file using MIKE 21 SW at the relevant positions and then replaced the data (and timesteps) using the GenericOpen functionality in MIKE Core. Would that work for you?
