A cursory search does not reveal how/where this URL is constructed or how it might be tweaked.

Perhaps somebody with more familiarity of Middleman can adjust it easily?

Thanks @RogerHowellDfE - acknowledge the bug and potential fix in the Middleman URL construction. Same is true of the contents pages for each profession when published, e.g. https://dfe-digital.github.io/dfe-job-descriptions/software_developers/index.html

To note, as we're moving to the tech-docs template, the top-level folders for each job role / family are becoming obsolete. We should probably have a PR to remove these for software development.

Good spot. I'm planning to remove the tech-docs subfolder altogether once #62 is merged, which should fix this behaviour!
