RST seems to be limited in its ability to support row span and column span, and in the cases where both are supported, the format is very rigid. In trying to come up with a reasonable balance, I decided to try using one table type for the header, another for the body, line them up by enclosing a common div or cell, and then match the table and column widths. Unfortunately, the "Docs" action keeps failing with no clear reason why—just a couple cryptic references to the Makefile, which has not been modified. If I introduce a table syntax error, it will more specifically identify that error, but correct the syntax, and the cryptic Makefile errors return. I think I have the correct table syntax, but as noted above, I'm not yet an RST guru. That said, the GitHub "preview" for the page seems to render somewhat as expected (though the tables aren't lining up), so I'm at a loss. I even tried completely deleting my fork and then re-forking. In some ways, it seems like this might be better served by raw HTML than RST (flexibility without being so rigid), but I don't know how well that might be received. I do have a Discord account but typically have been on only rarely. |

On the DCC-EX website, it appears there are at least four different pages listing various compatible throttles (not including pages for individual throttles):
These multiple copies perhaps might be contributing to maintenance issues, as there are inconsistencies, omissions, and duplications across these pages.
Would there be interest in unifying this all into a table, with the individual table entries each in turn linking to their respective individual throttle page? I created a mock up in Excel to illustrate the general idea of what I have in mind but am open to suggestions.
I am open to helping implement these changes, but I wanted to gauge interest before really getting into it. (Also, I am not yet an RST guru and so could possibly benefit from some guidance/assistance with respect to the DCC-EX website theme.)
Thank you!
Edit: Tables in RST with column-span support are not necessarily the most flexible.
