[Feature Request]: Enable sensor testing mode via serial console

Problem/idea statement

It would be great to be able to enable sensor testing mode without having to compile and load to enable/disable this, so a command option via the serial console would be very handy.

Alternatives or workarounds

Currently it can be enabled/disabled at compile time only.
