Would love to join the organization #4
Comments
Also would love to join this organization as well. I've been a Coursera Community Mentor of R Programming for over one year but I have no idea about this organization until now. Are we having plans for developing or organizing helpful learning resources? As I know, many mentors have their own repositories for gathering helpful articles written by themselves. |
@corytu It would be great if you can help in scaling this organization. |
@palash25 that's great in order to scale the organization we need help. |
@divyanshu-rawat What do you think about the purpose of this organization? Courses and mentors may already have their own running GitHub repositories or specialization-based discussion forums outside of Coursera. What we might be able to try from my perspective:
Then we can probably split members in this organization into teams, based on categories of profession, e.g. data science, social science, life science..., and start from there. |
@corytu ya do agree with the wonderful idea you have. |
I would also love to be a member of this organization. |
Hi there, I would love to be a member of this organization. Although I'm not a coursera mentor, I have been programming for quite a while now and have experience with backend and open source development. I mostly write Python, Go, Javascript and occasionally some Haskell.
I've also worked as an API developer for cloudyBOSS and I am currently working as an open source developer for coala on their Nextgen Core and working on improving the cache performance.
I can help guide newcomers in contributing to this org and reviewing their code.
