ERC-20 Token Icons

Looked at etherscan for top 50 tokens by market cap…

• I found less than 25 in the 'crypto icons' we're using.
• Seems like the crypto-icons source we're using is somewhat incomplete. Not sure how good of a resource this is.
• I think providing .svg icons over .png icons is more valuable to everyone, but sourcing .svg icons is a big task I don't think we're staffed to reliably handle.
• It might make more sense to set a template for contributing to this repo of icons sources.
• looking at the repo TrustWallet maintains, I think they're doing a good job of providing a framework for building up their token icon library from community contributions.
• We're not providing a structured way to contribute assets to what we're building.
• I think it would be valuable to have a repo of erc-20 token icons in .svg format under the Rimble brand. Vector files are more useful for both designers and developers.
• identifying icons by their name/short-come (i.e. ETH, BAT, ZRX) seems to be prone to error.
• seems like identifying based on smart contract address would be more reliable or precise.
• strong guidelines for adding assets to the repo is very important. (https://github.com/trustwallet/developer/blob/master/assets/add_new_asset.md)

TrustWallet appears to maintain a repo with 3000+ erc-20 token images (.png).

Qualifications:

1. ERC-20 (our primary focus is Ethereum – exception: Bitcoin)
2. Sold by coinbase (this is aimed at widest group of people)
3. Fiat icons in the list because we recommend crypto values are shown in fiat too
4. Tokens we have in current icon file included in Etherscan link above
