Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I added the obituaries feature a long time ago because it was a fun idea. It still is, but it's obvious that nobody looks at them and barely anyone really knows they exist. Sadly, they're just bloat and so they should probably go.

Why is this this best way to solve the problem?
They're not really harming anything in technical terms, but they are another thing for a new mishmake to see and learn about in the config folder. Probably a net negative, so kill em.
