have ci/cd build for linux, at least a tar, or even better, build src rpms/ src debs if you cant be bothered to build for specific arch types

Describe alternatives you've considered

running in wine/ building locally

Due to the many direct calls to Windows function, at least at our current capacity we cannot offer linux builds. There are quite a lot of changes needs to be done on the back end to replace the Windows calls with linux one, and as all of our current devs are not a linux dev, this is quite difficult. We're sorry about this.

I'll leave the issue open if someone wants to take on the challenge.
